The Annual General Meeting of the Newtown Residents’ Association will be held on 17th September at 7.30pm at the Newtown Hall, Daniell Street, (opposite the Mediterranean Warehouse)

Wellington City Council is hosting a series of community briefings with GNS Science to talk about earthquakes. The briefings are designed to give you and your community a better understanding of the earthquake risk to our city.

The briefings will give you an overview of what has already been done to make our city safer and the work we have planned to improve our infrastructure’s resilience.

You’ll also find out more about what you can do to make sure you and your family are ready for an earthquake and have the opportunity to talk to our experts about earthquake issues over a cup of tea afterwards.
