The Wellington Heritage Festival is on from Saturday October 24th till Sunday November 15th, with more than 160 events all over the Wellington region. This year the only event based in Newtown is the exhibition about Newtown Stories organised by the Newtown Residents’ Association.

This is the third Wellington Heritage Festival Exhibition we have had about the development of Newtown. Again it takes the images and stories in the Laura Rosier History of Newtown as its starting point.  The venue is the 24/7 Gallery at 247 Riddiford St .

The Exhibition is open until Sunday 15th November – 11am-4pm Friday – Monday, 4pm-7pm Tuesday, closed Wednesday and Thursday.
