On April 13 the Newtown Residents’ Association President made an oral submission on this draft Plan. We were asking for more, and more consistent, engagement with the community about these proposals.

We also suggested that if there were plans for Mass Rapid Transport through Newtown this could threaten the ‘liveability’ of our suburban centre.
